The Combi 1000 PRO-SERIES offers complete flexibility, enabling you to meet your personalization requirements with ease and precision.

Flexibility comes with the built-in multi task system that provides the option of using four personalization modules simultaneously.
The new generation CIM thermal printing module ensures high speed performance and first class printing quality in full color and monochrome with a crisp 300 DPI resolution.
A motorized output delivers the cards to a convenient external stacker that can be emptied while the machine is in operation. The print head is also operator interchangeable.
The Combi 1000 can be optionally equipped with a chip encoding station and meets the requirements of VISA and MasterCard for personalization of international credit cards.

The Combi 1000 PRO-SERIES is part of the ‘Multi Modular’ range of products from CIM designed for easy interconnection with other CIM PRO-SERIES modules.

SOFTWARE

MultiCard 2006 is CIM's response to the ever increasing demand for sophisticated software for card production through intelligent and safe data management and high level professional graphic elaboration.

Intelligent and flexible system allowing management of different internal record variables, such as: date, time, magnetic track contents and barcode. Thanks to the OLE DB, ODBC and COM technology, easy access to all the information can be made from any existing data base and from Access, Excel and DBF programs. The field engine also permits different field variables to be combined in the same record and for fixed text to be added. Partial extraction from each field is also possible. It is possible to memorize and control the record information concerning the production of cards, like date, time, identification, duplication of cards.

It is able to import information through the use of Bar Code readers, Encoders, Chip and Contactless readers and the identification of the OCR characters through camera, then it structures them through direct field access.
It is possible to produce complex graphic effects such as superimposition and gradients, quickly and easily. In addition, the actual design is displayed on the screen. Thus, what appears on the screen is the finished product.

It is an application for 32 bit Windows operating systems: thanks to the ¿multithreaded programming¿ technology it is stable and safe. It is written in C++, the fastest and most powerful language for controlling the hardware right down to its finer details and ideal for applications which work in real time.
It is very easy to use because it offers users a convenient on-line help system. It is familiar right from its initial installation as it functions with the most widely used standard Setup software in the world: most of the Microsoft, Corel, and Sun etc. applications are in fact distributed with this system.

It can manage and control the machine: the printer set up involves a dialogue window where all the components can be directly modified. MultiCard 2006 is also designed to control additional connected machines making use of the same graphic interface. There is a wizard that help the operator set-up the parameters of the machine and of the printing job.
