Evolis R3013 Color Ribbon Description

Evolis R3013 half-panel ribbons include half-size yellow (Y), magenta (M), and cyan (C) panels. These are used for printing full-color images. The full-size resin black (K) panel is used for printing text and barcodes. Additionally, the overlay (O) panel is a thin protective panel that is applied to the card surface.

Evolis R3013 half panel ribbons include Y, M, and C half panels as well as full-size resin K and clear O panels.

Half-panel ribbons allow you to print color on up to half the length of a standard CR80-size PVC card. Meanwhile, resin black may be printed on any area of the card. If you’re only printing full-color on part of your cards, Evolis R3013 half panel ribbons provide twice the normal ribbon yield. This is more than a standard YMCKO ribbon, at a lower cost per card.

When stored under proper conditions, Evolis R3013 dye-sublimation color ribbons typically have a shelf life of up to one year. Ribbons that are more than a year old, and improperly stored, will not print optimally. They will likely end up costing more money and time in maintenance and in reprinting cards.
